I’m Jess! A Wedding Photographer based in the the UK.
I’m laid back, very friendly and my approach is to keep things nice and relaxed, blending in with your guests and capturing the day and the moments as they happen but stepping in to offer gentle guidance when needed.
With having shot so many weddings I come with a wealth of experience in not only how a wedding typically runs but in how to guide you both to get the most beautiful, natural shots and how to make your guests feel at ease and relaxed too.
I can help with recommendations of other excellent suppliers in the industry and can help fine tuning details of your day from time lines to logistics if needed..
But anywho, a bit more about me:
I’ve been shooting weddings for over six years & have shot at least 200 weddings all over the UK and abroad from The Isle of Skye to London and Italy.
I’ve always loved photography (I still have albums full of photos I took when I got my first camera when I was little) and gradually upgraded my cameras and started shooting family weddings and events and before you know it, I had a portfolio and here we are!
I am literally obsessed with dogs. I have an Australian Shepherd called Barney who makes me cry regularly with his cuteness.
I love to travel and especially to the USA. My life goal is to visit all 50 states and I’m on 15 so far! (my favourite state is California and I’ve had photographs I took whilst out there featured online by Vogue).
I love travel in general and am slowly trying to tick off as much of the World as possible. Italy is my second favourite country to USA, but Iceland is a very, very close third!
I love live music and will happily to travel anywhere to see one of my favourite bands (I went to Texas for a long weekend twice to see Dorothy and Larkin Poe).
I live by the sea and absolutely love collecting shells, paddle boarding and attempting (lol) to surf.
I love a pizza (don’t we all) but am extremely fussy and don’t like any cheese on it and so much sauce, it’s basically soup.
I also love doughnuts and Maryland cookies (can easily see off 1 packet with a brew).
I love cooking and trying new recipes. It can be a bit hit and miss though - unlike my baking which is mostly just a miss (made my sister an 18th birthday cake and after 2 hours in the oven it was still slop).
I love trying new things and always have a new hobby. Some of these include writing (i’ve written a book but it’s too cringey to ever see the light of day again now), weaving, drawing, painting, silver smithing, skate boarding and many more!
Hiking! My favourite hike is around Llyn Idwal in Snowdonia. But anywhere with mountains is good enough for me and even better if there’s a gorgeous little natural pool for a dip too.
This is me and Barney :)
